About The Podcast

I’m calling my podcast “Community Conversations” – where each week I’ll be interviewing leaders in the Non-Profit, Foundation and Civic realms from throughout Los Angeles, where I hope that their thoughts, ideas, wisdom, perspectives, and best practices will be interesting, informative, helpful, and maybe even a little entertaining to you.

 

For over 20 years, I managed the Wells Fargo Foundation for Los Angeles and Arizona, at that time the largest corporate donor to nonprofit organizations in the Region.  I’ve had the honor of working with thousands of nonprofit leaders; individuals who have chosen with their lives to do something to improve the human condition.

 

And ours is a mighty community, where Los Angeles County is home to over 62,000 nonprofit organizations and where over 1 million people work in our sector.  It is a challenging time for the nonprofit world, and I hope hearing from these individuals, many of whom you know well already, will be of benefit to you.

 

And I promise, these will be honest, bold conversations, probative and authentic.  So, get ready.

 

And I’m especially proud to be partnering with Outlook Newspaper Group and some amazing nonprofit organizations I’ve worked with for decades to help bring this forum to you.
